Client: Maison Bloom, a line of hemp infused seltzer beverages.
Brief: To create a promotional Spread in Honeysuckle Magazine promoting Maison Bloom’s February campaign. The goal was for the spread to have a Valentine’s Day visual aesthetic in terms of color palette, and to let the photo(s) primarily shine.
Process: This was a challenging project for me initially as I was not provided very specific guidelines, only a vague theme and a file of promotional photos in various color palettes- the rest of the creative direction was up to me. I felt inspired by the heavy floral aspect of all the photos, and picked out the most flower-heavy ones that incorporated pink and/or red. I chose one photo that needed only slight color retouching in Photoshop to use as a full page fill, and one that I edited apart to take up half the page with room for a background color and test. I featured the logo I was given on both, and used one of the pages to introduce the seltzers and use a campaign tagline I was given as well using Adobe Illustrator.
